Mission

New Creation Church is a word of faith, Spirit-filled church.  As we worship God, His Spirit is free to operate in His fullness to build, encourage, and comfort the body of Christ. As we teach the full counsel of God's Word, it brings people into the understanding of who they are in Christ. Through this revelation, we are equipped to minister the love of God to the world.

Bible reading

We believe that the Bible is absolutely relevant for today and is the only voice of authority the believer has.  We believe that studying the Word of God causes the believer to know who they are in Christ and creates intimacy with God.

Worship

We place an emphasis on praising and worshipping God.  We believe that as we worship Him, He comes and dwells among us corporately to minister and to touch our lives in His presence.
 

Church Attendance

Connecting with God and community is a major aspect of the Christian walk.  Regular intentional church attendance causes us to belong to a community of believers that combine strengths, talents, and finances to see God move in our community and around the world.

PRayer

Prayer is communicating and fellowshipping with God.  Scripture tells us that we are to pray without ceasing.  Our personal prayer life gives us an opportunity to thank God for all He has done and causes us to maintain close fellowship with Him.

Giving

Through the tithes and offerings of God's people, the vision and mission of the local church is able to be demonstrated.  Giving is just one way we can honor God. We believe in being generous and purposeful givers to honor God and see His kingdom come.

Community & Fellowship

No one can do life alone.  It takes a strong community of brothers and sisters in Christ working together to walk this life.  We are a family and we intentionally create opportunities for fellowship and relationships to build and strengthen each other in the Lord.

Discipleship

Disciples are not born, they’re made. Through the teaching of the Word of God, the person of the Holy Spirit working in our lives, and prayer we are equipped as believers to do the work of the ministry.

Ministries at New Creation Church

Our purpose at New Creation Church is to see people connect with God and others at every level of their journey across all age groups.

KIDS ON FIRE (KOF) Children’s Ministry

We offer children’s ministry for 4 different age groups.

Nursery A: Ages 0 - 2

Nursery B: Ages 2 - 4
While parents enjoy our worship service, they can rest assured that their babies are receiving safe and nurturing personal care. Our ministry team creates an atmosphere that introduces infants to the love of Jesus.

Preschoolers: Ages 3 - 5
Our preschool classrooms provide interactive learning experiences in a colorful and engaging atmosphere; from illustrated lessons to group activities, preschoolers learn about Jesus and the Bible in a way they can understand.

Elementary: Ages 6 - 11
Our elementary classrooms help kids learn about Jesus and build relationships with others through fun object lessons, engaging Bible stories, and small group activities in a way they can understand and apply to their life.

Student Ministry

We offer ministry for Jr. High and High School Students. *Owosso Location*

Student Ministry: Ages 12 - 18

Our student ministry meets on Wednesday night to build community, be empowered with life changing messages from the Bible, and create a place for students to talk through the challenges and issues they face.

college Ministry

We offer ministry for college Students. *Owosso Location*

College Ministry: Ages 18 - 29

Our College ministry meets on the 3rd Friday of the month at 7 PM.

young adults Ministry

We offer ministry for college Students. *Owosso Location*

Young Adults Ministry: Ages 30 - 39

Our College ministry meets on the 4th Friday of the month at 7 PM.

LIFE Groups

LIFE Groups are held several days of the week at multiple locations throughout our community. We offer LIFE Groups for all ages!

One of our Core Values at NCC is to build healthy, meaningful relationships and we believe it is important for everyone to discover a place where they can connect and grow. We were never created to "do life" alone and LIFE Groups exist for individuals to build community, which is an important part of maintaining a healthy Christian walk.

Community Outreach

We are driven by the commandment of Jesus Christ to love our neighbor as ourself. Our community outreach team is active in the surrounding area sharing the love of God to those in need through:

  • assisting public school lunch programs

  • offering back to school support for families in need

  • serving our local senior citizens

  • conducting missions outreach

  • hosting community blood drives

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, are the inspired Word of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

The One True God

We believe there is one God.  He is the Creator of all things, Who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus the Christ is true God and true man.  He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of virgin Mary.  He lived a sinless life.  Miracles and healings attest to His earthly ministry.  He died on the cross as the sacrifice for our sins.  He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.

The Fall of Man

We believe man was created in the image and likeness of God, but man voluntarily sinned and thereby incurred both physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God.

The Salvation of Man

We believe the only means of our reconciliation to God is through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.  Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation and eternal spiritual life.  The born-again believer is to separate from that which is evil and live a life of holiness unto God.

The True Church

We believe the true Church is composed of all those who are born again, as taught in the scriptures.  Through this new birth, we are united together in the body of Christ.  Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church.  Every local church has the right under Christ to decide and govern its own affairs.

The Ministry of the Holy Spirit

We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.  During this age He has been sent to indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service.  The Holy Spirit bestows the spiritual gifts of: (1) Word of Wisdom, (2) Word of Knowledge, (3) Faith, (4) Gifts of Healings, (5) Working of Miracles, (6) Prophecy, (7) Discerning of Spirits, (8) Diverse Kinds of Tongues and (9) Interpretation of Tongues in and among believers on the earth since the Day of Pentecost and continuing until our Lord’s return.

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is granted to all believers who ask for this experience.  We believe this experience is distinct from and follows the new birth.  Every believer can and should be filled with the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues.  We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance.

The Ordinances of the Church

We believe water baptism by immersion is a natural outward expression of the inward acceptance of the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ; however, it is not to be regarded as means of salvation.  We believe the communion of the Lord’s Supper is done in remembrance of Him: His suffering and death, burial and resurrection, His present priestly ministry, and His coming again.  We believe the elements, bread, and the fruit of the vine are the symbols expressing our sharing in the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Mission of the Local Church

We believe the mission of the local church is to assemble together as a corporate body in which man may worship God, to be an agency of God for evangelizing the world, to be a storehouse wherein may be shared all things pertaining to life and godliness, to equip the saints for the work of the ministry and to edify the body of Christ till we all come in the unity of the faith.

The Ministry

We believe Christ has set in the church Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, to edify the body of Christ till we all come in the unity of the faith, wherein the mission of the local church may be accomplished.

Prosperity: Spirit, Soul and Body

We believe that without faith it is impossible to please God.  The atonement provides salvation for the believer, healing for the soul, healing for the body.  We are redeemed from the curse of the law which is poverty, sickness and death.  Our lives will be prosperous and healthy if we will walk in the light of this redemption with faith in God’s Word.

The Rapture of the Church 

We believe in the personal, pre-millennial, imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord.  We believe this happening, referred to as “the Rapture,” will deliver us from the Tribulation.  We will be resurrected unto everlasting life and blessing in the presence of the Lord.

The Millennial Reign of Christ

The Millennial Reign of Christ – We believe in the second coming of Christ with His saints to rule on the earth for a thousand years.

The Lake of Fire

We believe the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet and anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life, shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.  This is the second death.

The New Heaven and the New Earth

We believe heaven and earth shall pass away and a new heaven and a new earth shall be created wherein God Himself will make His residence.  Believers shall be with Him eternally.
